Why a painting company does yards
Honestly? Customers kept asking.
A Wallace Paint Co crew would finish a repaint, and the homeowner would ask whether we did yards too. Enough people asked that Matthew handed it to his son Chase and told him to build it properly.
That matters more than it sounds. A yard crew that started as a favor stays a favor: it shows up when it can, and it disappears in July. This one was built the way the painting business was, with one person accountable when something goes wrong.
Where the standard comes from
It started with Larry Wallace.
Matthew’s father was a craftsman and a tradesman. He cared about doing a job properly, and he treated every house he worked in like it was his own.
That’s the whole standard. It was never written down. It was just how he worked, and it got passed down.
Wallace Co Services was built on it. Chase is carrying it out to the yard. Whichever one of us you deal with, that’s the standard you get.
