Bed cleanup and edging
Beds weeded, cut back, re-edged and mulched, with everything we pull hauled away.
With less lawn, the beds are most of what people see, so they need to stay edged and clean.

Neighbourhood of Nashville · Davidson County
Green Hills lots are smaller and closer together, and the neighbourhoods are well established. With less lawn, the beds, walks, patios and the trees overhead do most of the work of making a place look cared for. There is nowhere for a neglected corner to hide.
The properties
A smaller yard is not so much a smaller job as a more visible one. The beds sit right against the house and the walk, the edges run close to the street, and all of it is in view from the front door.
Mature trees over small lots mean shade, roots, and leaves with nowhere to go. A few big trees can bury a yard this size in a week of late October, and the gutters fill at the same time.
Hardscape carries a lot of the look here — walks, steps, patios, borders. Pavers settle, joints fill with weeds, and concrete goes grey and green in the shade. Resetting, washing and sealing what is already there goes a long way on a lot this size.

Sunken, heaved or loose pavers and flagstone lifted, re-leveled and reset on the walk or patio you have.
Walks, steps and paver borders do a lot of the work on smaller lots, and a settled piece shows.

House, drive and walks washed back to their color — soft wash on siding, pressure on concrete.
Shaded, closer-in lots grow green on walks, steps and siding, and a wash brings them back.

Gutters cleared and flushed twice a year, debris hauled off, with photos so you can see it was done.
Overhanging trees fill gutters fast, and on a tight lot the overflow lands in the beds.
From $275Smallest property size
Once after the leaves are down, once in spring.
How the year runs here
March is windows and the spring reset, May is pressure washing, and the beds and edges are kept tight through summer. Late October through mid-December is leaves — three passes, the last one after the oaks are done — and the gutters get cleared once the trees are bare.
