Most of Brentwood is subdivision lots between half an acre and an acre, and most of those lots have a standard to keep. How the year runs here
Spring is beds and mowing — cut back, re-edged and mulched in March, then mowing every week once the fescue takes off. Summer is holding the lawn through the heat and keeping the sprinklers honest. Irrigation gets blown out between mid-October and the first week of November, ahead of the freeze, and the leaves come down in three passes from late October to mid-December.
