Bring tall grass down in stages
Cut it at the highest deck setting first, then lower it a few days later. Scalping a knee-high lawn in one pass leaves it brown and patchy.

Know poison ivy before you pull vines
Leaves of three, and old vines look like hairy rope on a tree trunk. The oil stays on gloves and tools, so wash both.

Privet and bush honeysuckle come back
Both are everywhere in Middle Tennessee fence lines. Cutting them to the ground slows them down, but they resprout from the root, so expect to cut them again.

Keep debris out of the street
Clippings and leaves blown into the gutter end up in the storm drain and the creek. Bag it, pile it on the lawn, or have it hauled.

How much does it cost to clean up an overgrown yard?
We price it as a Half Day or a Full Day, and both prices are published on the page. Debris and disposal are their own line, never buried in the labour.
Do you haul away the debris?
Yes. Everything we cut goes on the trailer and leaves with us.
Can I send a photo instead of having someone come out?
Yes. A photo of the yard usually tells us enough to say whether it's a Half Day or a Full Day, and we'll text back with a number.
How long does a yard cleanup take?
A Half Day is about four hours on site and a Full Day is about eight. Most overgrown yards fit in one or the other.
What we don’t do
- Tree climbing and removals — we prune from the ground
- Land clearing or grading
- Fertilizer and weed control — that takes a licence we don't hold
