Why call us

What you get when we do it.

The drying time most people skip is built into the job, which is the difference between sealer that soaks in and sealer that peels. Sealer is billed separately so you see the material cost.

  • Driveway, walks and patio washed
  • Left to dry properly before anything goes on
  • Cracks cut and filled
  • Sealer applied, with the material billed separately

What we know

What we'd tell you standing in your driveway.

Useful whether or not you ever call us.

01

Let new concrete cure first

Fresh concrete needs about a month to cure before it gets sealed. Seal it too early and the sealer traps moisture and can cloud or peel.

02

Do the water test

Sprinkle water on the drive. If it beads, the sealer is still working. If it darkens and soaks straight in, it's time to seal again.

03

Go easy on rock salt

Salt and freeze-thaw together are what flake the surface off Tennessee driveways, and young concrete is the most vulnerable. Sand gives grip without the damage.

04

Fill cracks while they're small

Water gets into a hairline crack, freezes, and makes it wider every winter. Filling it early is far cheaper than dealing with a broken slab.

05

Clean oil before you seal

Sealer over an oil stain locks it in for good. Get the stain as clean as it will go first.

Questions

What people ask about it.

How often should a driveway be sealed in Tennessee?

Every few years for most sealers, depending on the product and how much traffic it gets. Do the water test each spring — when water soaks in instead of beading, it's due.

How long should new concrete cure before sealing?

About a month. Sealing sooner can trap moisture in the slab.

Is the sealer included in the price?

The labour is the published price. Sealer is billed separately, because it scales with the square footage rather than the time on site.

What we don’t do

  • Slabs replaced, lifted or poured new
